My First "Real" Chart! +Credits

So I'm trying to give back to the FFR community by making a song for the game. Before I submit it to them I would like some feedback. This is my first chart that I think has potential of getting in the game so please play, enjoy , and give feedback. As a handy bonus I'll give from 0-2000 credits based on your reply/feedback. What I really want to know is if it is worthy enough to get in the game. If not tell me what is wrong... Thanks! And if someone could teach me how to submit a file to the game correctly that would be great too!

Description: Nice Japanese (imo) style song with clever graces and straight-forward bursts. I still need to sync it, and add the background beat to some parts.

P.S. : I would like to know what the whole "Batch" file thing is for submissions, I've seen it a lot around here.

Pretty much. Files submitted are typically given permission by music authors on the grounds of the site being non profit and not distributing the music around.

Anyway, check out this thread for everything you need to know for submitting to the batch. Unfortunately you will have to check up on it so you don't miss out when the batch reopens again.

Not sure about the minimum time rule, it wasn't listed in the thread.

EDIT: I'm going to pm you my review of this file, because I just played it. Needless to say for anyone else that played this file it needs a lot of work. Writing up flaws with measures and recommendations now, it might take me an hour or two to get it all straightened out.

There actually is no true minimum (nor maximum) length of time set anymore.

Naturally however, it will be more difficult for a very short or a very long file to be accepted into the game. The reason for this is NOT because of the lengths alone. The reason why it is harder to have extremely short/long files in the game is that their lengths create limitations to the file itself. For example, a very short file will need to present an interesting act in a small period of time, and most short songs ~45 seconds or less cannot deliver. On the other hand, very few marathon-length songs have enough interesting features to keep the players interested for that period of time.

So no, there are no actual limitations to song length. Let the chart itself be the judge - a very short/long song will often create shortcomings to the file anyways.

@21992: If you're planning to loop the song, please don't loop it more than twice, depending on the length. Also, your steps gotta be creative if you're planning to loop the whole song again.
