Pad key configuration trouble

I am hooking up a xbox DDR pad to my laptop, and the arrows are not functioning properly, they screw up if you hit another arrow while another is being held down. It works fine in the menus, but how do I get it to function correctly during a song?

No idea at all.

Have you went into the "Test Input" and check if the pads buttons are registering correctly? Make sure you test jumps, Hands, and Quads.

Another thing you can try is to re-map the pads arrows(using AutoHotKey) to your KB's keys "askl" test it that way. If it still "messes up" then there may be an issue with your pad.
