Elite Beat Agents Chart Maker (Stepmania)

Yeah, a chart maker to make Elite Beat Agents/Osu! style charts for Stepmania. Pretty awesome stuff here and it makes for some interesting charts; for something that uses Foreground changes entirely, it's pretty fast to make.

I found this interesting -- not sure if anyone else will, though.

That's pretty cool. I wonder if it'll take off.

Ha, crazy. I approve of the idea, but I like to keep my Stepmania separate from my Osu!.

        That is incredibly awesome.
Now can we MOD elite beat agents to play those files on a DS? Also what about slides??

        O.O

        Still that's an awesome idea!

Slides aren't supported by the chart maker, yet. I can see how it would work though if it were to be implemented. They would only be visual, obviously, since you're still only working with 4 arrows, but hey, who knows what could happen.

This is pretty much Project Diva but much more complex and difficult, rofl.

It's a cool concept and all but I'm not sure if this would really pick up as a full on game. For playing both games and lurking the communities, IMO Osu and Stepmania simply don't mix in terms of charting/mapping. The structures and "theories" are completely different and if you were to mix together both games, it'd just result in conflicts as to how songs should be layered, represented, etc. Some sort of new charting system would have to be established if this game were to ever break from being casual and just-for-fun.
