SM4 Noteskin help

I've been trying to add a new noteskin into my stepmania 4, and everytime I try and use it, I get an error message saying [insert file name here].lua, unkown file. (Or something like that)

I can't find a skin and make it work. Could someone possibly send me a skin that they use and see if I could get it to work that way, or someone possibly help me find one that'll work?

ssc's good, but only if you have an average pc like a dual core. It lags and loading screens take too long on my pre-historic PC

if someone makes an easy lowres theme and you put your settings on low it works fine

I don't think StepMania uses more than one core.

It only utilizes two cores, I'm sitting on a 6-core pc and I'm robbed of a theoretical 3x performance

Performance does not scale linearly by number of cores in use. There are software/hardware limitations and overhead involved in using them.

There are some things which could make better use of multiple threads, but they are used in the important places.
