Can someone tell me where to change where the arrows go so it can go in the middle?

Start program. Options. Gameplay options (or something similar depending on version of SM) and put "Center Player 1" On.

Edit: Looks like it was answered in another thread. Good job for double posting two indentical threads. *facepalms*
