I was scared to death when I loaded my stepfiles into the newest SM Alpha version, and they were all off but what seemed like about -25 gap. My joke stepfile, Gato's Song, which is easily AAAA'd was off by maybe 40 gap. I tried other people's stepfiles that were perfectly synced on my other two Alphas, and still, they were off on A17. I knew it wasn't me. I was scared...
I had a big post about needing help, but before I posted it, I went and got Alpha 15, and noticed that it was perfectly fine. I originally had Alpha 6 (for 8 months) and also 11, which was just fine, too. At first, I was impressed with Alpha 17 because everything was moving faster. Options menus were even more instantaneous in loading. Everthing was incredibly fast.
I've cooled down now. Don't get Alpha 17. Maybe my computer was just running it faster or something. I don't know, I'm confused. I guess I'll just stick with 15.
