Simfile keeps fluctuating in speed...

I've tried making my second simfile today(using a program called DDReamstudio), and it turned out great.

It worked fine in the preview/practice mode for the program, and had consistent timing.
However, when I tested it in Stepmania, the speed changes constantly, slow-fast-slow-fast-etc... Even though the notes hit on time, it's very obnoxious. I've tried going to options and turning off all effects/hold/etc, which didn't work.

It's really bothering me, and I can't find any topics or posts relating to it(search results mainly give topics about speed mods).

those are BPM changes, if you play on a mod such as x2, the arrows speed will change according to the BPM, if you play on a CMOD such as C400 the BPM stays constant the entire song

I have a suggestion.

Where you currently have:

#OFFSET:-0.512404;
#SAMPLESTART:5.312;
#SAMPLELENGTH:16.657;
#BPMS:0=110.825;

Replace it with this:

#OFFSET:-0.512;
#SAMPLESTART:5.312;
#SAMPLELENGTH:16.657;
#BPMS:0.000=110.825;

It's possible that Stepmania is incorrectly parsing those fields and causing inconsistent behaviour. If you fix that (Stepmania expects those fields to have three decimal places) then there should be no reason why the bpm would flucuate, as no bpm changes nor steps are listed.

After that, make sure you load the sm file in the stepmania editor and force it to Reload From Disk so it recognizes that the simfile's contents have changed. Alternatively, you can make it reload everything by using the reload songs/courses option in the options/settings menu.
