solo mode keys

i'm trying to play solo mode on stepmania but i know that:
left arrow is <
right arrow is >
up arrow is ^
and down arrow is down
but i wanna know, what keys should i press to step on the 2 diagonal arrows because if i need a real ddr mat, i guess i'm busted

Are you using one hand?
Or playing index?

If you are, you're pretty much out of luck. If you're using two hands, four fingers though, just set it up like q - left, w - left diagonal, e - down, i - up, o - right diagonal, p - right, or something along those lines.

You can edit the keys you use for the diagonal arrows to any key you want if you go into options then key configurations. I use the configuration Redorigami does.
