Stepmania Help

I know this is the second thread I've made asking for SM help, but I'm still kind of getting it set up on my new computer so bare with me. I was trying to figure out how to turn the menu timer off, and while doing so I clicked an option which I think was called free play. I went back to the main menu and it said "No Charge to Join In" and the options selection was gone. Now I can't go to my options to change it back.

So two questions:
-How can I access my options?
-Once I do access my options, how can I turn the menu timer off?

Yeah, after hitting scroll lock go to "Machine Options" and then the first option should be Menu Timer.

You only need to hit Scroll Lock once to access the options menu.

I'm going to assume you have your Coin Mode set to Freeplay which is why you can't access the main menu so hit Scroll Lock and it'll lead you to the options menu.

Coin Options -> Coin Mode -> Home
Also at the very bottom, turn Event Mode ON.

Machine Options -> Menu Timer -> Off
