Off-sync songs

I put Stepmania on another computer of mine, and every single song is off-sync. Since I have no idea what to do when it comes to this sort of thing, can someone help me?

I tried the in-game sync machine option, but it said that something was too high to be fixed and so it did nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think in the data folder there is a file called stepmania.ini or preferences.ini. There should be a line in there called globaloffset. Just keep guessing and checking by changing that value to sync your machine.
