    Timing frames

    I've been wondering what the time frames for getting a specific judge on arrows are.

    More precisely, I want to know how many seconds (or miliseconds) the time where you can hit a Marvelous lasts, and how many there are between it and the perfect before and after, etc etc. This is supposing you're playing on judge 4.

    If this isn't known, is there a way to find it out?

    Thanks for any feedback. If I'm unclear anywhere just tell me and I'll try and explain more clearly.

    I was under the impression that this is what was shown in the metrics.ini at the end of SM videos that show .ini but I could be wrong so I'll let some SM guru take this one lol

      I'm pretty sure it is under metrics.ini but I don't know where it is exactly in it, sorry.

      EDIT : found this at StepMania.com

      JudgeWindowSecondsAttack=0.135000
      JudgeWindowSecondsMarvelous=0.022500
      JudgeWindowSecondsPerfect=0.045000
      JudgeWindowSecondsGreat=0.090000
      JudgeWindowSecondsGood=0.135000
      JudgeWindowSecondsBoo=0.180000
      JudgeWindowSecondsMine=0.090000
      JudgeWindowSecondsOK=0.250000
      JudgeWindowSecondsPerfect=0.045000

      EDIT x 2 : Found out its in Data in the StepMania folder under StepMania.ini, I knew it had a .ini or something like that.

        Yeah, it's not metrics, it's Stepmania.ini, the only problem with that is that the line just before (which you didn't paste) is JudgeWindowScale=1.000000 or something of the like. So the scale is out of 1.000000, but what does this represent? Is it 1 second, or some other form of measurement of time? It would seem a bit too severe of a judge if the marvelous time frame lasted only 22.5 miliseconds (or would it?)

        EDIT - Also, how does the the frame for OK work, considering that is given only after the hold is finished and is not based on precision? Does the 0.25000 mean you get a NG if you lose the hold for 0.25 seconds, considering the 1.000000 scale would be a second?

            I guess you're right OWA. One more thing though.

            Let's write it down like this

            Boo
            Good
            Great
            Perfect
            Marvelous
            Middle 0.000000
            Marvelous
            Perfect
            Great
            Good
            Boo
            Miss

            The middle is at 0 seconds, obviously. Since the marvelous is 22.5 miliseconds, is it on both sides of the middle, or 11.25 on both sides? Considering it is 22.5 on both sides, it would result in a marvelous time frame of 45 miliseconds. Which one would this correspond to?
