    Help?

I'm not sure if this is a noobish question but I need help with making simfiles.
It seems that with nearly every song I make, the bpm works fine with the song at the start, but it messes up after.

Now everyone probably thinks 'well just change it throughout', and I have with all my past simfiles, but its been like that with every one I make. Am I doing something wrong or is it just the songs that I happen to step?

And one other thing, how come all the simfiles I create have a way lower score than the ones I downloaded? I've compared it with other songs with even less steps etc and the score still seems lower even though I do better, does the game do it on purpose or something?

    1. Go to Patashu/Ducky's guide on how to create a simfile. Ducky's Guide, Patashu's Guide

    2. Same as above, you'll probably know what will need to be changed.

    3. The score is based on the time in the song and how many arrows you put in.

      Re: Help?

Some songs do have strange bpms and some do have bpm changes, I've synced a few that were strange. I would suggest using DDReamStudio since you can line up the beats with the music easily since you can see the wave form of the music while making the steps. If the music looks like it's gradually getting off beat the further you get into the song, then while looking near the end of the song, slightly increase or decrease the bpm till the beats match up. If at one point in the song it starts being way more off beat than before, then you have a bpm change there.
