    How do u change the bpm?

    Near the top of your .sm file, you will see a line of text that should somewhat resemble this:

    #BPMS:0.000=129.750,16.000=130.000,68.000=260.000,72.000=130.000;

    After "#BPMS:", there is a sequence of "number=number"s separated by commas and ended with a semicolon. The first number represents the beat at which the bpm changes. The second number is the bpm it will change to.

    In my above example, the bpm begins at 129.750 beats per minute. 16 beats later (4 measures of 4/4 time), it speeds up ever so slightly to 130 beats per minute.

    You may notice that I doubled the bpm during beats 68-71. I did this because of a 2/2 (cut time) measure in the song. I could go into music theory here, but let's just say it works for the song.

    To change the bpm of your song, you will need to:
    (1) Start the line as "#BPMS:0.000=" and then the bpm you want the song to begin at
    (2) Place a semicolon at the end if there are no bpm changes, or a comma and appropriate instructions for bpm changes, ended by a semicolon.

    Any experts should feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm pretty new to the Stepmania editor and have just been learning by doing.

    Hope this helps!

        find the bpm with a program like x-step or winbpm, after that just use that number and put it in the dwi file

        should look like this

        #TITLE:A;
        #ARTISTj Amuro;
        #BPM:93;
        #GAP:2.309;
        #SINGLE:MANIAC:12;
