    Question

My entire SM is offbeat. Every song is equally offbeat. What do I need to do to offset the arrows?

Also, I'm getting a bit of lag. Probably because of the 1017 songs I have on SM, but any tips to reduce lag?

      Re: Question

      SM 3.9
I'm looking for a good 3.95 download, though.

      Edit: Found one.
      Using 3.95 (CVS)

If I'm lucky, I won't need you to answer my question.

        Re: Question

alright to change the global offset of sm which is the reason all the songs are offbeat go to C:\program files\stepmania\data\stepmania.ini

once you're there look for globaloffset and change it accordingly

for example i have my global offset at -0.038000 because the notes where late without the global offset.

sadly it is a time consuming process of trial and error since you have to keep reloading sm to see the changes =.=

as for the lag go to the program folder in the stepmania folder and open up smpackage.

once smpackage is open click on change settings and change the graphics api from default to OpenGL

Just what I was looking for. Thanks =)

Edit: Actually in the Xoon 2 theme for CVS, there's a "Sync Machine" and "Sync Song" function built in. I'm still using your method though, as it's too offsync to help.

          Thanks

Edit: Umm, for some reason smpackage won't open.
"This application has failed to start because MFC71.DLL was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Uninstalling/reinstalling did nothing.

          Any help?
This lag is killing me D:
