I was wondering if it is safe to set the offset by slowing down the song to make it easier to set.
Generally when I try this on a song then play it, I hit the arrows a little late.
I know some alterations to music can alter the offset (I have to change the offset by -.04 whenever I swap out a song with a version I've fiddled with), I wasn't sure if changing the speed at which it played was one of them.
Another thing is that I have the In the Groove files, which are professionally made (right?), and I opened a couple in the editor and the offset does not line up with the notes when you slow the song down to .5x. Instead, the music comes a little bit before the notes (just like when I do my files). I have no trouble playing those In the Groove files, and think they are synced perfectly (yay Queen of Light).
Hmm, that wasn't very cohesive. Hopefully it was understandable though.
