I'm wondering if it's possible to put a song you have on stepmania? I'm not really sure how you do this or if its even possible to do it... I read the stickied thread on how to get songs onto stepmania, but from what I understand is what to do after you download the song. Can anyone explain please? ^^ Thanks~

Re: Uh...
After you download the song, the actual files (.sm, .mp3, etc) have to be placed inside a song folder which is inside a group folder which is inside the /Songs/ folder of your /Stepmania/ directory.
For example:
/Stepmania/Songs/My Creations/Drawcia Sorceress/ (all the files go here)
When extracting, check to see if it already has a song folder and/or group folder embedded in it so you don't put it too deep or too shallow.Patashu makes Chiptunes in Famitracker:

Re: Uh...
In really simple terms
1) Extract the files so it's in a folder with the song name like "Rainbow Rainbow"
2) Go to (Assuming you're drive is C:\ and you're using Windows) C:\Program Files\StepMania\Songs\
3) Create a folder...it can be named anything...this is how you sort your music into categories
4) Put the song in that folder.Comment
