Can anyone explain how to put background videos in your sims?

I believe SM only reads .AVI format videos, put the video in the songs folder, hit "B" when in the edit song steps, under "File1 Type", select "Song Movie"

Think that's how it works, not 100% sure.

the songs folder...didnt work for me, i put it in the vizualizations folder, edited my song, then played it but the Stepmania BG was still there and i could barely see the vid playing behind it..wats that supposed to mean

What you do is put the video in the song folder of the sim you want it in. After go to edit mode, press "b" and place the video. Test it out to see if it's synced with the song. You may need to move the video around until you're satisfied.
