Help with Stepmania's Unlock System...
Alright, that title may be a little misleading. I can't give any help ^_^.
So here's my problem. I've followed all the instructions that Stepmania has given me about the unlock system. I've turned it on, and I've created all the unlockable songs in the unlocks.dat file. Now, I start Stepmania, and the main menu recognizes 41 songs as unlocks. Okay, so then I actually start the game. I choose the folder with all of the unlockable songs, and for some reason, I can still see and play all of them.
So...call me crazy, but aren't you supposed to unlocks songs BEFORE you can play them? I made a custom version of DDR for a friend, and I want to make it unlockable like the real versions, but I can't seem to make the songs go away and actually make it to where you HAVE to unlock them.
