    Any User-Friendly Stepping Programs?

I've only ever encountered two programs to step files (some program that's name I forget and StepMania itself) and both are a pain to step with, as I really don't have the patience to go through fifty menus to make everything work correctly. So, I was wondering if there may be others out there?

As far as I'm aware, Stepmania itself is still the easiest to use.

And to those of you who would be like lmao notepad- once you know how it actually works, it's actually similar to lurking in the editor, especially if you have simple and repeating patterns/rhythms. In the editor, just reload from disk every now and then and test out what you've done. In addition, if you use 3.9 or something to step, working with notepad allows you to step 192nds really easily so yeah

Actually it's not very easy to edit crap like this in notepad.

            `4000000000000060000000004000000.....'

Also adding BPM changes or tricks were like nightmare.

ps I'm just saying about dwi, not sm.

if you don't even have the patience to learn a stepping program, it's likely your step files are going to be no good (esp for advanced stuff). stepping a good file is art.

edit: just throwing more editors out there:

or, have a program make a file for you:

Thanks for the replies guys, I'm going to get to work looking at some of these programs.

And, to Jyris, I think I'd make wonderful files when I find a program that isn't as monstrous as StepMania.
