Rock/Metal Mega Pack Submissions

Have you been frustrated at trying to find good FFR songs from popular bands as Fall Out Boy and Metallica and all you got was techno remix's that sounded nothing like the song you were dying to play? Or even the song was only a minute long when the original was five minutes long? Personally I am angered by it. So me along with various artist's and graphic artists are putting together a pack consisting of rock and metal songs. A name has yet to be created for the pack though. But songs are being created even as I type. We need a minumum of 20 songs for the pack to be official. I am aiming for a song list of approximately 75 songs. I'll be happy with 30 though. This pack is meant for Pad to Keyboard to accommodate almost everyone to be able to use this pack. I have two testers that I will send the song too. They will remain nameless though (considering one of them isn't on the site). Please submit so we can make this pack epic. Pack name and banner will be put here later.

Follow the rules below to submit a pack:

- The song must be a rock , punk rock , speed metal or some metal. If you aren't sure if it should be in a pack PM or e-mail me (preferably PM as I check there more often)

- It must follow these foot ratings (approximately)
Beginner= 1 to 3 (optional)
Light= 2 to 5 (required)
Standard= 4 to 7 (required)
Heavy= 6 to 10 (required)
Challenge= 8 to 15(optional)
Edit= Anything but not a joke file! (optional)

- Banner and background are asked for but not necessary. You will be holding up the pack by asking for a background. So we prefer you to make one.

- It must be the original song that means it must be full length and non-techno-remixed (some remixes are allowable. Please PM me the song if your not sure)

-DO NOT ASK IF YOU CAN JUDGE! I have already pre-selected judges.

-If simfile making is not your thing please sign up if your a good banner maker. And yes , you will be on the credit reel

-I will rarely deny files. Just provide suggestion's to improve. But don't send me a file made using the dandy "record" button. Believe me I can tell.

- Please refer to my profile for constant updates (and song that I want in the pack) when making a song. I would hate if you made a stepfile to a already made stepfiles.

- Also... I dosn't have to be a rock song published by a popular band. I'm doing "Open Your Heart" by Crush 40 and it's a song from Sonic DX. It just has to sound like rock.

- Please include a CD Title with your name on it please. If you don't know what a CD Title is just search it up on stepmania. Your sure to find it!

Show me proof that you can judge please or even make files.

Judging is simple. All you do is take a look at the simfile. Try to find any beat that are off beat and either repair them manually with permission from simfile maker or deny the file.
And yes.... I was not a really good stpefile back then but I'm working and really improving. If you want immediate proof I can send partial file to you. It won't be the best cause I have to edit it every 10 or so bars. So if you want me I can send a partial file or you can wait for the finished ones.

2. Not Rock/Metal

You're dumb. The only good rock file isn't rock? And there are actually a lot of great rock files, like the Epidemic of Unexpected Relapses.
EDIT: EW and Bluguerilla files are good too. USUALLY...............

To the OP, if you really want people to contribute you have to make a name for yourself here first.

It'll be really hard to get a quality pack from nothing.

And as I said it will have only three required diffuculties. I'm not a fan of uber hard songs like in Keyboard Mega Pack and Astronomic Metal Pack. Bat Country is a perfect example of how you can make a song hard. My technique is intense layering of both Guitar and Vocals and sometimes drums when there loud. Metal songs are a wee bit easier due to more guitars , drums and in some cases more vocals.

And too Blueguerrilla , I know I haven't been as you say.. famous. But still there's bound to be quality stepfile makers out there. Infact there's alot. I think this was inspired because I coundn't see really good quality stepfiles that weren't either remixes , short version or not even rock or metal. And "emo" music isn't a style. It's the way of people as they portray it.

Nobody plays easy keyboard files. Especially easy rock files. If I'd submit, or anyone else, we will only be making 12-15 diff rock sims :P

Yes, most people will do that. And I respect that. Challenge is built for the really hard and challenging. If you ask , I will be happy to make light , standard , and heavy if necessary. Infact Challenge is one of my weak suits.
