Machine Sync or whatever

Does anybody know how to change the default global offset or whatever in SM from 0.000 to -0.020 (if there is a way)? I'm sick of going to options and doing machine sync every time I play.

Ctrl+F

GlobalOffsetSeconds=0.000000

and put...

GlobalOffsetSeconds=-0.020000 (I believe you get the idea.)

You can also do alt/shift + F11 or F12 in-game..

It's possible that it doesn't work on some Stepmania versions.. don't remember which ones.
