Should I get Stepmania 4.0?

A friend of mine has 4.0 and wants to play against me but I'm afraid all of the sims that I have won't work if I download it. What should I do?

1). ALL OF YOU'RE SIMS WILL WORK.
2). I personally say no. 4.0 is buggy.
a) Has a horrid step editor
b) Strange graphics in my opinion.

Get 3.95 and verse you're friend. It's 3.9 with online play. Go google it.

4.0 isn't really that buggy, but it DOES suck, because there are no good noteskins for it, and all of the 3.9 noteskins don't work for it.

Stick with 3.95.

3.95 is better from what I've heard; a lot of my friends who played on 4.0 sucked when compared to playing on 3.9/3.95.

i have 4.0 with the optical theme from bemaniastyle. and i have metal note skins. and 3.9 and future ddr vivid and delta and cel, robot, vivid from itg, flat, and im working on custom note skins. the editor works fine for me. the only thing thats bad with it is when you wanna make a slow down/speed up you have to make it before adding arrows. otherwise when you try to make one on top of it youll lose them all if you didnt save. otherwise i love it. and i dont even use online

And yes, you should. It's gonna have a pants-kicking new default theme, it's already got tons more awesome stuff you can do with it, etc.
