finally found hyro's uber (on the forums, go figure) and i noticed its
way easier to FC than in FFR. I know the music is probably more in sinc, but it still seems like you get a lot more leeway to hit the notes. is this true? also, whats that 'toasty' thing i keep getting...scares the piss out of me i don't know why

Yes. FFR's timing is not correct. It is too quick to register the miss, among many other things.

FFR is also insanely bias against 1 handers. The notes just don't register well on ffr when you roll your hands across the arrows.

Thats why i don't take ffr very seriously.

A "toasty" is an anime character who pops out of the side of the screen designed to mess you up. I turned mine off.

You get it when your marvelous rate is very high.

Another reason I like to play with marvelous off.

no.. it's when you get a perf or marvelous combo of 250. you can't get greats, and obviously no good/boo/miss

Look for Easter Eggs under some options and turn that off.
