I need tips.

I've recently been getting into Stepmania a WHOLE bunch and I've improved a LOT - but I still have a HUGE amount of trouble on lots of double notes (what do you call them? haha). Also, some songs are just way too fast for me - like Symphony X's Inferno.

I play 1 handed and I think I do okay - I just need some good songs to help improve hitting rapid double-notes.

This is how I do on YYZ by Rush.


As you can see I did terrible at the start where there is a bunch of really fast double notes.

Whereas...


I go extremely well on Little Sprite which is just as fast - but doesn't use any double notes.

Are you talking about two notes at once. or when you hit the same note(s) VERY fast one after another.

Two notes at once, in rapid succession - if they're ALL the same in a row then they're really easy - but what I mean is something like this.

Like that really fast.

Just practice. I couldn't do them either when I first started playing. Do you play index?

Not sure what that means, I have no idea about any terminology haha..

I play with one hand - that's all I can say haha.

Oh, yeah jumpruns (what you are having trouble with) are difficult playing index and one hand. Just practice them; I have never really played one handed before, so I can't really help. Sorry.
