I recently bought a USB compatable DDR pad online. I have trouble playing Stepmania with it, though. Can anyone give me a step-by-step way on how to use the DDR Pad in Stepmania? Thanks!

plug it into the usb port, go into the controller config (where you'd bind things for your keyboard normally on stepmania) and click right or whatever you want to bind, and press whatever arrow it is on the pad you're binding. it should show up on the screen..
