    Looking for a BM simulator...

    Hi everyone.

I'm planning to order beatmania from play-asia but I wanna know if I really like beatmania (cuz the BM controller + IIDX12 = around 200$). So I looked around to see if I could find a nice BM simulator that had good songs on it (well i couldn't find anything besides 5-key BMS files). So If someone has a good 7-key BM simulator (a reference for some good 7-key BMS files would also be great), could I know where I can get it?

    Thanks.

I would try lunatic rave (my personal choice) and bm2ds. Also you seem to have a problem with the price of controller+game. An easy solution i used was to buy beatmania us (which is actually very good for beginners) which came with a controller. It is almost identical to the jp controller and in some ways its superior. The good thing is that beatmania us is only $30 us. Im not sure if happy sky would be the best for a beggining bm player but dont let me stop you from buying it.

Thanks. I'll try lunatic rave as soon as I get my new computer .

As for Beatmania US, I searched on the internet for it and I couldn't find it anywhere (I don't trust Ebay so please don't bother asking). However, I read about it and it looks great (through the songs aren't the best but hell..)

Yeah. Finding beatmania us was a complete ass for me also. I lucked out though when i went on a trip and found it new at a gamestop.

Okay I Installed Lunatic rave on my computer. But when I click on lunaticRave.exe, the intro appears and then it crashes. Now the question is : WTF am I doing wrong?
