criticism on my first simfile

Alright first off im not at all plugging my sim, and i hope what im posting doesnt violate any of the rules. ive read all the stickies and didnt see anything that im posting that would violate the rules. anyways i need someone to give me some constructive criticism on my first ever simfile. although its not finished id its about 40% done and im not plugging it seeing its not even finished. i just need some insight on how im doing and what could be better? some info on my sim below

song: metallica - metal militia
difficulty: about 12
bpm: 180 (measured with mixmeister)

again if what im posting is against any rules im sincerely sorry. any criticism, good or bad is well appreciated. what i have completed so far took me about an hour and a half after reading tutorials and getting the hang of stepping. just want to say thanks in advance for taking your time and i hope to hear from everyone soon.

Criticism? I'll give it a shot.

1:My idea is if you want a song but it's too long to bare stepping, use Audacity (or something related) to trim the song so it's shorter. Or, a different song.

2:you didn't edit the difficulty on the FILE. Nothing serious, but I double check files I rate.

3: Even IF unfinished, it's not a 12 footer. MAYBE a 9 or 10.

4: The sync seemed a little off (I noticed it at measure thirteen Stepmania), so speed it up.

5: Background, fine. Banner, LACKING.

Overall..........Do what I listed and check it again. OR, try a shorter song. My rating is a 4/10. I can't say your a bad stepartist until you create multiple files. Go for another file, I'll be there to rate it.
