How do I change the scoring system?

I wanna reprogram my SM to act like the new SuperNova 2 system. If I can find where the score calculation code is, I can do this easily enough. Anyone have a clue?

idk, but if you do figure it out, let me know, I want mine to start at 10mil and count down every time you mess up. ^_^
