I dont understand almost every time I convert my mp3s to ogg it works, but when I tried to do a song a second ago it wouldent do it.Is this a common problem with ogg lab 2004?

Did you edit the MUSIC tag in the .sm file to "#MUSIC: whateversong.ogg"? (Remember to reload songs/courses in Stepmania)
If that's not the problem or it still doesn't work, try using Audacity or GoldWave to convert the audio.Have a pad simfile that you're proud of? Send it to:
