are there tips to increase the frame rate on sm4?

Up the refresh rate under graphic options.

Be warned: Once you get into the higher rates, you need to have a decent graphics card, and a monitor that can handle it.

Turn off VSync if you haven't done so already.

That will take off the 60 FPS limit, and I honestly don't see why you would need anything higher than about 120.
