Centered arrows ;D

How can I have my arrows scroll up in the center of the screen?(like in this video for example).Another question I have(instead of creating a new thread) is how do you turn of all backgrounds during gameplay?So that its just black in the background while the arrows scroll up.

Options -> Gameplay options -> Solo Singles

Edit: and somewhere else in options, like appearance I think, you can change the background brightness. Set this to 0 for no backgrounds.
