ITG2 theme for sm, error! help

I downloaded groove 2.4 + noteskins at groove2.net,

Then I put the theme in the themes folder, set it up on appearance options, then put the noteskins, but when I play, right before the songs play it crashes and says this when I pick flat note,

The redirect 'NoteSkins/dance/flat/Down Tap Note.redir' references a file 'NoteSkins/dance/metal/Down Tap Note 4th' which doesn't exist.

or this when I pick cel or default,

File "NoteSkins/dance/default/_Down Receptor Go.xml" has unknown type, "xml"

full screen, the itg2 theme works, it loads up, can go to options, and go to the acual play menu, its when i load up a song is when i get those errors, i just want to get this fix so i can then by my blueshark

It's trying to load the down arrow from your metal skin. I honestly have no idea how you've managed to make this happen, though, sorry.

Go to your stepmania folder and into noteskins/dance/default and change "_Down Receptor Go.xml" to "_Down Receptor Go.png" and if it's the same for Cel, do the same in there.

Go to your stepmania folder and into noteskins/dance/default and change "_Down Receptor Go.xml" to "_Down Receptor Go.png" and if it's the same for Cel, do the same in there.

So I went to change the format to png, but how do I do it, I dont know how, I right click but I dont see nothing

OK, I really want this, so lets start from the beggining,

1) download SM 3.9
2) go to groove2.net, download groove 2.4 and noteskins
3) put groove 2.4 in theme folder, delete old noteskins, put new ones right?

Probably shouldn't have deleted your old noteskins but wHaTeVeR.

To change file extension you need to make them visible in your computers control panel, then just rename it.

The theme works fine, I havent put any noteskins yet, I can play right now with the regular skins, note/flat/solo.

But when I put the noteskins zip in the packages folder, I can play the songs but the arrows are purple blocks except the down arrow, oh man my SM hates me :/ help???

You said you were using it for 3.9. You need Stepmania 3.95 which is not an official release which can be found here

Try putting the noteskins in the noteskins folder under dance.
