I need some questions answered

1: Whats a good notepad for making simfiles?
2: If the BPM is too low do u sometimes make the BPM higher for the simfile?
3: What do you write again for the dwi?

I think he just means if the BPM is too slow to read the arrows good, should you double it or something, which I guess you could, if you don't wanna use a C mod thingie.

And, Suprememan, I would just use the built in editor in stepmania for making simfiles, instead of notepad, if that was what you were asking.

Well wasnt their a #FILE:; after the title? when i tried to make my simfile i put what u put but i put the #FILE:; in it and it was all messed up. I used notepad is there something i have to do after i write all the stuff in the notepad? i named it the song name than .dwi cause thats what i did on my mac notebook. If you can tell me all the steps on makin a dwi file on windows than thank you alot.

What you could do is copy an existing song folder, delete the graphics and song file in it, then place your own graphics and song file in the folder. Then you could edit the information inside the Stepmania/DWI program rather than do it manually. #FILE:; refers to the MP3 file. I don't believe it's necessary to have that listed if the MP3 file is the same folder as the DWI file.

I never thought of the copying u sure it would work? I used to do that but i never deleted the graphics and steps and it would always go only for a certain time the old song was. Well ima go and try it out later on and if u can try to reply asap thank you if u do.
