Converting from index to spread.

Does anyone have guides/tips/pointers on how to convert from index to spread?

I think it's finally time to convert

I literally have no idea how to, even like change which keys register what, and etc, so...


Any help is appreciated!

Go to test input and find some keys that can be recognized when all 4 are pushed, and map them respectively (left, down, up, right is the order btw).

Other than that, just practice and have fun.

I played index for a LONG time, I switched to spread, but for some reason, I still can't match the speed I had with index.

Yeah, I tried Earth Quake oni (NVLM_ZK's) and like, sucked.

So I figured maybe I wasn't THAT good yet.. XD

I tried..Boss Machine.. and did really badly.

Does it just take lots of practice?

Yes, I played some KBMP sims to get better.

It just came naturally to me, I don't see what's so hard about learining to use 4 fingers compared to 2
