need some help making my first sim

First Step [for me]:

Find the BPM

You can ask the artist of the song or use a metronome.

The correct BPM will allow arrows to line up perfectly and make for easier stepping.

um yea i read it.. i just need someone to guide me through the process so i can tell them problems im having.. i kinda need a step by step helper... and i havent gotten anyone to message me... im very fustrated.. im trying hard to figure it out but its kinda confusing..

ok well i finely figured out how to make one... ON MY OWN... took me about 2 hours.. and now i am trying to upload it.. there are 3 files.. one of them is a .sm file another is a .dwi file and the last for some reson is a .dwi.old i have no idea how that happened but mabby you guys know.. so if someone can please help me with this i would love the help.. oh and i did try to upload them but they keep saying that it wont accept it.. that is what im having trouble with now

.dwi is used for the dance with intensity simulator, which is practically obselete by now.

Anything with .old contains the steps for the previous save in case you accidentally delete your steps and save over it.

Also when you upload sims, you need to zip all the contents of the sim in one file.

ok.. when i upload somthing... i have 2 files out now.. one the last one Weard Al Canadian Idiot is saying not checked.. what does that mean?

That means they hasn't been checked whether it can be played on Resonance or not. It only takes about 10 minutes for a sim to be checked (it's done automatically).
