Hands Hands Hands

One of the main differences between FFR and SM (besides Holds) are Hands. Now, i have a problem with hands because my keyboard doesnt register them. In fact, when i press three arrows or more my computer beeps and then my key board stops working for about 1.5-2 seconds. That doesnt sound like much but its enough to break any full combo. Plus its very annoying.

Anyway, what my questions are:

1. Is it my keyboard that allows hands or my comp?

2. If it is my keyboard than what are some keyboards that some of you guys have that do register hands (Brand/Model) so i can go buy one myself.

Hands? If your talking about... changing the keys for playing. I suggest an AutoHotKey script.

no...its when you press 3 or more arrows at a time. there called hands because if you were playing with your feet you would have to bend down and slap the arrow with your in order to do it.

Hands can be done.

Stepmania===>Options===>Configure Keys/Joystick Mappings.

You configure the keys there.

Im not trying to play with a dance pad, im not allowed to do hands with the arrow keys.

Turn off numlock. If that doesn't work it's just your keyboard. Some won't let you hit hands some will. You could try mapping your board.

It could be your keyboard that's not registering the keys you want. Try going to Test Input in options. That will allow you to test keys until you find a pair that works for you. Also, if you can't get any keys to work properly (as in can't get three keys or more to work), then you'll want to get a new keyboard that CAN register multiple keypresses.

It's usually the numlock. more than 95% of these cases are because of the numlock.
