I have a problem with certain songs, some notes just don't show up when I'm using particular noteskins, I don't know if that's what you mean.

No, I'm using the standard noteskin, and I'm trying to step the Kirby's Adventure theme, which is a .wav file, and I know it works, because I can at least get the song to load, but then the song just jumps all over the place like it would in a badly-scratched CD.

I've never tried to use a noteskin, it doesn't really matter to me, but what I would assume your problem is, is that maybe the file is corrupted, or since you said it's only on SOME songs, then maybe those songs are glitched, just not in the same way. O.O

Sometimes I wonder why I bother with this...

This board isn't checked very often, which is why nobody is answering your question faster.

Some mp3 formats go slower for some reason. I recommend converting the mp3 to an ogg format to alleviate the problem. You'll need to do it on every song that slows down though.
YOU JUST WON THE GAME! CONGRATULATIONS!

I don't know why you can't edit it, but sometimes, simfile authors like to make it look like the steps are skipping, when really, they just speed the song up to something like 10,000 BPMs. It really does make it look like the song's arrows are skipping. An example of this is in a song called: Anubis/Zodiac... or maybe it's called Zodiac/Anubis... anyways, check it out.

It's not the speed. Kirby's Adventure Theme is a song I'm trying to step. Blank DWI and SM. The BPM is 100-ish (I haven't had time to change it yet) and it's jumping all over the song. Even the little second counter will say "0:01", then "0:53", then back to "0:26". Wtf?!

Anyone who happens to read this, one last question. I have a song that's pretty well stepped, but at 60BPM, and the actual BPM is 110-ish, and I'm not gonna re-do it. Upload it anyway? (Don't Post)
