Are there any differences between version 3.0 and 3.9?

Seeing as how my PC can't handle anything above 800 by 600, and the latest version is default at 1024 by 768, what are the difference between them?

MASSIVE DIFFERENCE

it looks better overall

you can play challenging stepfiles without it screwing up the stepfile

it will register triple notes

marvelous timing

the overall timing is better as perfects are insanely easy to get on 3.0

more options and stuff like more music speed options blah blah

I think Alpha 6 is better to get. Either of the two are the ones you would want over everything else.
