A lot of them are made with Photoshop or Gimp. If you have no experience with either then I'd ask someone who does.

definitly don't use paint. You WILL get laughed at for poor quality artwork so make your banner and bg look REALLY GOOD. My suggestions: Write down ideas, make more than one banner and bg and see which works best.

I use photoshop, and i suck with photoshop, but my banners still come out pretty good.

i just wanted to know the piano notes for butterfly
