So I'm stepping 'If you wanna be my lover' by the spice girls (I know how that must sound) and I've got my first note as a fourth note of because cause I did the gap and BPM right, and after a couple notes I need some 16th notes. But then all of a sudden the snap needs to change to the 32nd note sync while staying at the 16th note speed, which would be every 2nd 32nd note.

Hoping I explained this well enough, is this ok? I would think it is. Because I'm wondering if this would be the result of a BPM change or something and if I need to do something special.

It's either double or halve the bpm at that point, but I wasn't really paying attention so I don't know (I think it's half)

You sure you have Gap and BPM correct?

If you know you do, it's just because humans are inaccurate. The problem probably isn't that you are off, it's that the artist actually is off-beat. You can keep stepping it if you want, but it can be difficult to time right. In all honesty, it will probably turn out at least a little offbeat in places. This is one of the reasons Electronica is stepped so much: Because computers are accurate, and humans are not. (But seriously, if they're off by a 32nd that band must really suck.)

It might be that the beat actually lies on the 32nd note, but I seriously doubt it.

Well, the song is actualy really on sync with singing and such, just that the sync changes to the 32nd snap. So I guess I'll just continue and finish it.
