Problem with Alpha7

I d/led Alpha7 win version along with 3.0 final and 3.0 works but I keep getting an error msg for 7. It says my resolution is too high or something. It plays but I can't see the screen. I don't understand, I have my res set on 600x800 and 16-bit color so it should work but I *still* keep getting the error msg. -_- but 3.0 works fine.

Any help?

Change your color depth to 32 bit. Then increase the size of your resolution, 800x600 is fucking tiny.

Delete sm.ini in the stepmaniaCVS/data folder.

That's funny SotN.

Anyway out of desperation after trying to change my res and everything else I try windowing it with Alt+Enter. Now I can play Alpha 7. So now I'm happy as it's MUCH better than 3.00 version.

I can play Alpha7 on my computer....if i installed it over the old 3.9 alpha 3 is there something wrong?

It shouldn't be a problem. I can run both Alpha 7 and 3.00 at the same time.
