I just got my 2 dance pads and usb converter from www.gameasylum.com and I'm afraid that they might have the joystick axis problem...Here's what I've got
-Alpha Super Dual Box Advance PSX Compatible Controller Adapter For PC USB
(It says on the package "Support Dancing Mat, USB Interface, Real Vibration, Two Platers)
- Cosmo Interactive Dance Pads
Under the Control Panel and Game Devices I tested it...It can register Left, Right, Up, Down, Up/Right, Up/Left, Down/Right, Down/Left...but It will not do Up/Down and Left/Right. It detects the adapter in my Gaming Controllers as Twin PC to PC Converter...So I'm thinking the problem is the pads. Does this mean I have to do some soldering? I'm a little confused when I try to configure the pad, even with the instructions on Stepmania.com
