    Noteskins Aren't Working...

    Uggh, How the Hell do I get these to work? I start up SM and with my new Noteskins ie. Note+, 8 Bit, and others and yeah, whenever I select them to play a song it selects default... WTF

      What version of SM are you using? Noteskins made for 3.9 do not work on 4.0.

      Did you put the noteskin folders in the "dance" folder within the "Noteskins" directory?

          yeah I did all that.... like... say for example if I want to use note+ it won't let me

              post screenshots of your noteskin folders, specifically...

              "StepMania\NoteSkins"

              and

              "StepMania\NoteSkins\dance"

              EDIT: Or just check that the folder names for each noteskin have no spaces. I won't be around until later, so if that doesn't work, someone else is gonna have to help you.

                  FYI...
                  • Noteskins go in the Noteskins folder under "dance".
                  • Themes go in the Themes folder.
                  • Announcers go in the Announcers folder.
                  • Characters go in the Characters folder.

                                  Alot of customization stuff can only work for 3.9. But there is stuff in the works for SM 4.0.
