Okay, so when I sort by "player's best", the top one is Ike Ike. Now somehow, it said I got a score of 63 million on heavy mode with a D rank, although my best score that I actually remember getting was 34 million something. So, I saw that was either a fluke or a glitch, so I went into Stats.xml and deleted the score, expecting this to push the song down the list a lot. But it's still there! And no matter what I do, no other song will beat it, even though my ranks for it are AAA/AA/E and the ranks for the #2 song are AAA/AA/B...

So what the hell happened? I never understood SM's best sorting anyway. I just wanna know why it won't budge.

You fcked up SM. Doing that caused the song to be "glued" up there. Nothing will beat it. Oh, and it's ranked via the grade you get, not the score.

I'm pretty sure "Player's Best" is just the most popular songs you've played. If you play one song 50 times and get a D on it every time, it's still going to be higher in the list than the song you played 5 times and AAAA'd every time.

I could be wrong though. I never used Player's Best.

If I remember correctly, there is an option to reload songs/courses in the options.

Something like 2 up from the bottom.

I'm pretty sure "Player's Best" is just the most popular songs you've played. If you play one song 50 times and get a D on it every time, it's still going to be higher in the list than the song you played 5 times and AAAA'd every time.

Ah, I thought that might be the case. After all, I did play Standard mode loads before giving up and just editing the song because it was badly out of sync :P (Speaking of out of sync, where is that "AutoAdjust" program I heard about in a topic on resyncing songs?)

Oh, another thing, I've sometimes had songs appear on the best list just after I download them. wtf?

Player's Best = How many times you've played the song.

No really, play a song 50 times and watch it rocket up the list. So the only reason Ike Ike is staying up so far is because it has been played so much, you probably whored it.

The reason I know this is because my #1 on "Player Best" is Counting Snow haha, I played that song about 20 times to AAAA it, I hate that song, ****ing song.

Yea, and the stupid thing is I played one more song after posting this and it went down to second place. Coincidence at its finest. :P

Anyway, after I moved all my songs around to group them by how much I like the song (read: song, not stepfile), and changed hundreds of path names in the Stats.xml, something screwed up and SM thinks Ike Ike has never been played. It got what it deserved
