Ridiculous timing

I checked the first 5 pages for a topic name with "ridi" in it, so this shouldn't have been asked recently.

So, is there a bugfree install somewhere ? I remember installing it a few months ago (about when it came out), and it was full of bugs. My SM got totally ****ed up, and I'm not too good at messing with ini's and stuff =/

It would offcourse be ok if there was a bugged version with some sort of walkthrough to fix the problems or so.

Current Release: Beta01 (7/31/05)
Right now Stepmania Ridiculous is still in beta. I do not believe they have documentation but you can probably email the programmers and/or visit their forums.

you ca change the time windows for all the marv and greats and stuff like that manually in the data folder of SM. Not that I recommend doing that and posting it in BB.

Ridiculous timing messed up Stepmania on my computer so badly that I'm uninstalling it.

Downloaded it hoping that I could manually install everything, until I saw that the mod replaced the main executable. Has anyone gotten this working in linux (not wine)?

Ridiculous timing really aint worth it. It gives the same amount of points than Marvelouses, so it's pretty pointless. I even tried installing this myself and I couldn't get it to work. Pretty much pointless, pretty much doesn't work.

You guys need to read FAQ properly and have 3.9 SM... I am not that great with computers and I had no problems making it all work.

edit: not to mention there is an uninstall option.
Use common sense.... when installing something called Beta.. back things up.

When I installed it some months ago it messed up my whole SM too, I had to replace lots of files and change lots of ****, can't even remember what I did to get it work properly. Now the only thing it does to my SM is that is shows one grade to low as my best scores where you choose songs, I could fix that easily but I havn't bothered lol. It's not that hard to just think "Oh it says B, what's above B? Hm... It must be A!"
