video background format

do the videos in the random videos folder have to be in a certain format because i have 2 videos in it and only 1 of them works; also i cant change the video once i put it on the song, what do i do? i think the latter might just be because of the fact i 'dont have multiple videos in the folder' so solving the first problem may solve both problems

I think all videos have to be in .avi format, but i dunno.

ok then, do you know how to change the file format? (that sounds right, btw, ive heard that other places too) i think right now the file type is .win, windows media file

There are converters that you can use. Try Googling ".win to .avi converters".

Huh. I tried it with a .wmv file, and it worked somehow. o.O

Possibly StepMania somehow converted it to .avi format???

well i think the one that originally worked for me was a wmv but somehow it ended up in iTunes and i just moved it from there and it somehow worked...does iTunes maybe use an .avi format? idk just a guess
