PS/2 USB adapter thingy

I recently bought a USB adapter cable wire thingy ma bob so I can use my old keyboard for stepmania instead of pounding the **** out of the keyboard on my laptop. Well, there's just one little problem: I Can't do freezes. I hold it but when I do, the arrow taps itself twice in a row for no reason. Could anyone explain this to me and how to fix it?

It maaaaaaaaaaay just be the sensors in your old keyboard. Try doing this:

• Get a better USB adapter cable.
• Get a different keyboard/computer.
• Go on a quest to defeat Bill Gates.
