Hmm. I'm conflicted here.

Normally I have a rule that if good simfile authors have already made a good file to a song, I don't try to step it (because the most annoying thing I see on FFRSimfiles and Bemanistyle is when random people make stepfiles to songs that already have great steps). But honestly, the only two Felys (long mix) stepfiles I've seen are Cynic's and Annon's, and both of them could be a lot better. (Zag's doesn't count, he didn't step the whole thing x.x)

Yesterday I started working on my own Felys just so I could play it myself, and I slowed down the music and found some stuff neither Cynic or Annon even came close to stepping - I'm not done yet, but so far (and I haven't filled out some stuff in the second half) it's 1600+ combo and the most friggin' awesome stepfile ever.

So... once I'm finished... should I release it? Or should I work on and release other stuff first and get some credibility or something? Or does nobody really care? XD

I really don't see anything wrong with you releasing a song, as long as the stepfile is created completely by you, and if it is properly sync'd. Go for it.

Do it! Anyone want my felys long version? lol I made it when kbmp came out because I didn't like cynic's. I started a v2 and it was turning out as you were talking about yours. I was also dissatisfied with annon's so I started working on it again, but I won't if you are going to finish this and it's good. GOOD LUCK and make me proud.

Just about all of Cynic's simfiles are really bad. I might redo a couple after I'm finally done working for these two packs.
