    Need help with DWI Creation

Hi Friendly FFR community! ^_^ anyhow i just have 2 major questions to ask before i can submit my first dwi. file on this site (Hopefully).

1.) How do i add the banner of the song to my dwi. file so that it will show when u go over the song (Selected) it in the game? I have made some nice high def. pics for use in both banner, and background and woulld be a huge waste not to use >.<

2.) How do i add a background to my song? I mean so that when the song starts up u can see the background there and not the simulators blank background. I have tried the "set change to still" to my b-ground file but it wont show until the "get ready GO!" sign goes away. Can anyone tell me plz?

If anyone have some solutions to my problem plz plz REPLY! T^T

I currently use the following set-up:

    -Stepmainia : Simulator
-Notepad : For Making the Dwi file

Also just for the really curious ppl out there, this song will be for the more advanced players, and is really awesome ^^ promise i shall personally sync every last arrow in this 4:37 min song (Possibly more). Also if you might have any complaints that they aren't synced well, use autoplay, and autotick to double check, trust me '_'

    Sincerly yours, Strider_684

    P.S.
All Pictures, and so on, besides the actual song itself was created by me.
Try your hardest to find those pics, it wont happen lol ^_^

That's your first mistake, haha. The FFR community generally isn't extremely open to questions. As it's developed, it's become more and more elitist. Also, try to lay off the emoticons. People tend to be annoyed by it.

Anywho, make sure that the background and banner are of the correct size. If you're not sure, take the dimensions from the background and banner from another simfile. Making them .png format would be preferable. Place the two graphic files in the song folder. Name the banner file song name.png and the background song name-bg.png.

    For example:

    banner - Gravity.png
    background - Gravity-bg.png

If you've done this correctly, they should be good to go. Also, it's nice to have a CDtitle with your file to identify yourself. Make a graphic with dimensions close to 65x30 with your username in it. Name the file !usernameTitle.png. For example, mine is !danceguyTitle.png. Make sure it has transparency so it's not all cluttered.

Good luck with the simfile. Hope it turns out well. Don't expect too much with your first file. You get much better with experience.
