STEPMANIA or DWI?

I have StepMania and personally think it's better I don't know how to get the Announcers to work and to get the DDREXTREME skin to work, can someone help me?

All I did was save the expansion files into my SM folder and open them. They save straight to the program. That's how I did it at least.
